Rebates

For sessions with a Clinical Psychologist and Registered Psychologist you may be eligible for a rebate from Medicare. However, sessions with a Mental Health Counsellor do not attract a Medicare rebate.
If you have a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) or an Eating Disorder Treatment and Management Plan (EDP), you can receive a Medicare rebate of $141.85 per session with a Clinical Psychologist and a rebate of $96.65 per session with a Registered Psychologist. Under a MHCP you will be eligible to claim the above rebate for 10 sessions per calendar year and under an EDP you will be eligible to claim the above rebate for 40 sessions (valid for 12 months from the date of referral).
You may also be eligible for a Chronic Disease Management Plan (CDM). Under a CDM you can receive a Medicare rebate of $60.35 per session for up to 5 sessions per calendar year. To claim Medicare rebates for sessions you must be a Medicare card holder and provide us with a valid referral from your GP. Speak with your GP about the best plan for you. If you are unsure whether your sessions qualify for a rebate, please speak with your practitioner or contact us for further information.

If you have private health insurance which includes psychology within your extras cover you may also be eligible for a partial rebate (check with your health fund).

We also offer psychological services to people who are funded through Workcover, Transport Accident Commission (TAC), National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), Victims of Crime, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), and Department of Veteran Affairs (DVA).
Cancellation Policy & Rescheduling
Please provide at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. If you let us know more than 48 hours in advance the cancellation policy will not apply.
Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment time will incur a fee equal to 50% of the session cost.
Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment time, same-day cancellations, or missed appointments (no-shows) will incur a fee equal to 100% of the session cost.
Please note that cancellation fees are not eligible for reimbursement or insurance claims.
Payment Processing
We process payments for your session at 8am on the day of your appointment. This helps us take care of the practicalities in advance, so you can focus on your session without any disruptions. Once the full session fee has been processed, we’ll take care of your Medicare rebate after you’ve attended your scheduled appointment—helping to ensure a smooth and timely start to your session.
